About C4I

The Collaborative Center for Clinical Care Improvement (C4I) was established by the Health Center's Board of Directors to create an environment of patient care that would make John Dempsey Hospital the safest hospital in Connecticut.

To this end, seven subgroups have been established, each with its own targeted area and leader, to improve patient safety and quality care. The groups consist of doctors, nurses, administrators, and medical support staff, who are dedicated to creating excellence in patient care.

C4I represents the commitment of health care professionals and staff working together with one common goal – creating the safest hospital in Connecticut.

Detailed information about the subgroups’ many projects can be found at this web site. The subgroups meet regularly and report to the central group on a monthly basis.
